§01

Privacy Policy (GDPR / CCPA)

01.1 — ContentSignalHouse (“we”, “us”), registered at 28325 Rockwinkeler Landstr. 142, Bremen, Germany, is the data controller for personal data processed through contentsignalhouse.com and related intake channels. Contact: [email protected].

01.2 — We process contact details (name, email, phone, company), brief content, and billing metadata you voluntarily submit via our contact form, email, or payment providers. Legal bases under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) are: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), legitimate interests in operating and securing our services (Art. 6(1)(f)), consent for non-essential cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)), and legal obligations for tax/accounting records (Art. 6(1)(c)).

01.3 — Purposes: responding to inquiries, scoping and delivering copywriting projects, sending transactional updates, invoicing, fraud prevention, and improving site usability. We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

01.4 — Recipients: hosting and email providers acting as processors under data processing agreements; payment processors (e.g., Stripe) for checkout; professional advisors and public authorities where legally required. International transfers, where applicable, rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

01.5 — Retention: inquiry data for up to 24 months after last contact; contract and invoice records for the statutory German retention period (typically 6–10 years); cookie data per the Cookie Policy.

01.6 — Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (GDPR Arts. 15–21). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g., the Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Bremen.

01.7 — CCPA / CPRA notice (California residents): we may collect identifiers, commercial information, and internet activity related to your use of the site. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. You may request access to or deletion of personal information, and designate an authorized agent, by emailing [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

§02

Terms of Service

02.1 — These Terms govern services provided by ContentSignalHouse, 28325 Rockwinkeler Landstr. 142, Bremen, Germany ([email protected]). By commissioning a service, paying an invoice, or accepting a proposal, you agree to these Terms and any signed statement of work.

02.2 — Scope: each engagement is defined by the selected service unit, proposal, or SOW — deliverables, revision rounds (two included unless stated), timeline, and price. Work outside scope requires a written change order and may adjust fees and deadlines.

02.3 — Fees & payment: prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless net terms are agreed in writing. Payment links route to our third-party processor; late amounts may accrue statutory default interest under German law (§§ 288, 291 BGB) and reasonable collection costs.

02.4 — Client obligations: you will provide timely materials, factual accuracy for claims about your products, and consolidated feedback within agreed review windows. Delays in feedback extend delivery dates day-for-day.

02.5 — Intellectual property: upon receipt of full payment, we assign to you the final approved deliverables created specifically for the engagement. We retain ownership of pre-existing frameworks, templates, methods, and tools, and reserve the right to reference non-confidential work in our portfolio unless an NDA states otherwise.

02.6 — Warranties & liability: services are performed with professional care. Copy performance depends on market factors outside our control; we do not guarantee specific rankings, revenue, or conversion rates. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot be limited under German law.

02.7 — Termination: either party may terminate for material breach if uncured within 14 days of written notice. You remain responsible for work completed and non-cancellable third-party costs incurred up to termination.

02.8 — Governing law: German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is Bremen, Germany, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

§03

Cookie Policy

03.1 — We use cookies and similar technologies (localStorage) on contentsignalhouse.com. Under the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG) and ePrivacy framework, essential storage is used to operate the site; analytics or marketing storage runs only with your consent where required.

03.2 — Essential: session integrity, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie-banner choice (key cookie_accepted in localStorage). These do not require consent.

03.3 — Analytics (if enabled after consent): aggregated page-view metrics to improve content and navigation. IP addresses are processed in truncated form where feasible. Durations typically range from session length up to 13 months.

03.4 — Third-party embeds: the contact page may load a Google Maps iframe; Google may set technical cookies when the map loads. Payment pages are hosted by our payment processor under their own cookie terms.

03.5 — Managing cookies: clear the cookie_accepted key and site data via your browser settings to re-prompt the banner; block or delete cookies at any time in your browser. Disabling essential cookies may impair form and checkout functionality. Questions: [email protected].

§04

Refund Policy

04.1 — Fixed-scope service units: if you cancel before work has begun, you receive a full refund minus any non-refundable third-party fees already incurred on your behalf. Cancellations after work has started are refunded pro-rata for undelivered milestones, rounded down to the nearest completed phase.

04.2 — Digital deliverables: once final files have been delivered and accepted, the sale is complete. If deliverables materially deviate from the agreed brief, we will revise at no cost for up to 14 days after delivery, or refund the affected milestone where revision cannot cure the defect.

04.3 — Retainers: monthly retainers may be cancelled effective at the end of the current billing cycle with written notice; unused prepaid cycles beyond the current cycle are refunded pro-rata. Rush slots reserved on the calendar are non-refundable once within 72 hours of the start date.

04.4 — Statutory rights: consumers retain mandatory withdrawal rights under §§ 312g, 355 BGB where applicable (e.g., distance contracts for services not yet performed). Request a withdrawal by email to [email protected] within 14 days of purchase for eligible orders.

04.5 — How to request a refund: email [email protected] from the address used at purchase with subject line “REFUND REQUEST”, your order reference, and a short description. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
